Installation of fall arrest safety nets with a debris net overlay to give protection to vehicles on the carriageway beneath during an extensive structural survey that was carried out by abseilers.

All work was carried on out during partial closure of the bridge at nights and weekends.

Very narrow carriageways, short mobilisation periods and a height of 40 meters at the centre demanded some detailed planning.
